Jakarta Legislators Undergo Bimtek for Skills Improvement

All leaders and members of the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) for the 2019-2024 period participated in technical guidance (Bimtek) at the Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta. It has been ongoing from Sunday (7/24) to Tuesday (7/26).

The material given is important to improve and sharpen the knowledge and skills of leaders

According to Prasetia Edi Marsudi, Head of Jakarta DPRD, the Bimtek was held in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) for the National Development University (Veteran). It was focused on sharpening the board members' knowledge and skills following Home Affairs Minister Decree (Permendagri) No. 14/2018.

"The material given is important to improve and sharpen the leaders and members' knowledge and skills, and members in supporting their duties and functions as Jakarta People's Representative Council," he stated, Monday (7/25).

30 Jakpreneurs Participate in Bimtek on Bidadari Island

The materials presented were from several competent speakers in their fields, namely the Economic Conditions after the Capital Moved from Jakarta by Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) Executive Director Tauhid Ahmad and Personality, Character Building, and Communication in DPRD Meetings by PT Genta Ilmu Tunas Cipta CEO Yonas P. Sutejo.

DPRD Vice Chairman Rany Mauliani hoped it could provide something new for all members.

"Hope this guidance like this can create quality members in the future, that's why we represent the community," he concluded.

Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University Vice Chancellor Prasetyo Hadi said that it was expected to assist and benefit the council members in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as representatives of the people.

"We hoped that it can help to complete all legislative tasks," he hoped.
