Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Head, Budi Awaluddin who visited service counter at Pulogebang Urban Village, Thursday (5/30), found a lot of people heading to the Dukcapil counter to prove their place of residence for people affected by population planning and control (reactivation). The service room was filled with around 300 residents who needed dukcapil services.

"Our apparatuses have been assigned to mitigate problems at urban village service counter starting today up to next week," he said, Friday (5/31).

Budi stated that during the review, it was found that several residents were initially afraid that their assets, such as motor vehicle certificates, would have to be changed again due to the new change of domicile. However, it is confirmed that motor vehicle title transfer fees are free.

"All population administration services are free, including requests for reactivation of NIK affected by population management and regulation. Please report if anyone misuses our services," he concluded.
