South Jakarta Mayor Syamsuddin Noor conducted a sudden inspection(sidak) to some dorms in Cilandak Sub-District, Wednesday night(4/22) until Thursday dawn(4/23).

"We're cooperating with police, Army, and BNN to prevent dorms misused as prostitution place and narcotics," said Noor, Thursday (4/23).
The inspection was conducted to dorms in Gandaria Selatan and Cipete Selatan Urban Village. The officers then checked those dorms which are suspected having inappropriate activities.
"It could be prostitution place and narcotics, or just for saved and used. That's BNN's and our role to detect it early," he added.
As many as 7 dorms with 100 rooms capacity were checked by the joint officers. One by one room checked and conducted data collection against the occupants.
"Yes, we're grateful tonight we didn't not find negative thing. But if there are occupants or the management doing such things, then we will give a sanction based on the rules and applicable law," he asserted.
Eventually, sudden inspection against dorms will be conducted by South Jakarta Administration in each urban village. "The raid will be conducted randomly in all over dorms in South Jakarta.
