The Central Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tamhut) is about to beautify the plants in all green belts, which are the route for the Jakarta International Marathon 2024 (JIM).

Central Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda said his party would prune, replant, and replace dead ornamental plants to make the green belt along the marathon race track more beautiful and fresh.
"There are four sub-district areas where parts of the road become marathon routes. This is what we want to beautify," she said, Saturday (6/1).

Those parks and green belts beautified are on Jalan MH Thamrin, Sudirman, Lapangan Banteng Selatan, Jalan Dr. Wahidin Raya, Jalan Gunung Sahari, Jalan Dr. Sutomo, Jalan Gedung Kesenian, Jalan Perwira, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, and Jalan Veteran I.
Central Jakarta Route and Cemetery Section Head Head, Budi Hidayat stated that technically, his party would carry out sweeping and beautifying according to needs and field conditions.
"Like the green belt on Jalan Wahidin, we plan to beautify it. We'll coordinate the process and do planning first to see if it can be followed up," he stated.
