Central Jakarta Administration, Monday (6/3), conducted climate village program (proklim) at RW 01 of Gambir Urban Village.

Central Jakarta Cit Secretary's Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, said the monitoring is aimed to give coaching since RW 01 will participate national proklim verification.

"It is hoped the verification by national team will get maximum result," he said.

Ginting explained that RW 01 of Gambir Urban Village preparation is already good, especially for administrative sector. However, field conditions in a number of locations still need improvement, including aspects of cleaning canals and streams, nutrient ponds and greening the environment.

He hopes improvement will be supported by sub-district, urban village, related stakeholder and local community.

"We still have time since the national team will visit the area on June 13-14," he added.

Meanwhile, RW 01 Head, Novrizal, admitted his side already tried to manage the area. Slum area now becomes better looking.

"We have more newcomer residents here. It was not easy to give learning. But now they are ready to support us," he closed.
