Jakarta Anniversary, Photography Competition Held for Civil Servant and BUMD Employee

Jakarta Provincial Government through Communication, Informatic, and Statistic Agency holds Civil Servant and BUMD Employee Photography Competition in order to enliven Jakarta's 497 Anniversary.

This is the first time for us in involving civil servant and BUMD employee

Competition themed 'Cerita Bakti Jakarta' is opened for Jakarta Civil Servants and BUMD Employee.

Acting Jakarta Communication, Informatic and Statistic Agency Head, Sigit Widjatmoko, said this is the first competition that involve civil servant and BUMD employee during Jakarta anniversary.

"This is the first time for us in involving civil servant and BUMD employee in a competition during Jakarta anniversary. We raise theme which is elaboration from Jakarta's anniversary theme 'Jakarta Global City with Millions of Charm," he said, Monday (6/3).

Sigit added the competition is held to provide space and a forum for civil servant and BUMD employees within the Jakarta Provincial Government to produce quality photos as well as a form of appreciation for photo works about Jakarta.

Photos must be emailed to fotojayaraya@gmail.com lately on June 12 at 11:59 PM.

Here are the competition regulations:

1. Participants are Jakarta Provincial Government's civil servant and BUMD employee

2. The photos are human interest and unique. The photo objects are candid/activities that support Jakarta as a Global City.

3. Photo should be taken during June 1-12, 2024.

4. Participants are free to use any type of camera (DSLR/smartphone) with the longest side of the original photo is 3500 pixels.

5. Participants are not allowed to add any writing or images to the photo. Digital processing can only be limited to adjusting the light and dark of the photo.

6. The photo must be given with a narrative/caption/that explains/narrates the contents of the photo which is in line with the theme of the 497th Anniversary of Jakarta: Jakarta, a Global City with Millions of Charms.

7. Photos are sent via email: fotojayaraya@gmail.com with subject: Cerita Bakti Jakarta_Name of Participant_Name of Regional Apparatus/UKPD/BUMD. In the body of the email, add the title of the photo, location, date the photo was taken and the participant's contact number.

8. Maximum photos are five items.

9. Email must be sent lately on June 12 at 11:59 PM

10. Photos must have a unique element and must be posted on the participant's Instagram (accounts must not be locked/private). Tag and mention the accounts @dkijakarta, @diskominfotik.jakarta and the respective Regional Apparatus/UKPD/BUMD accounts).

11. Assessment criteria: photography technique, photo aesthetics and the message conveyed in the photo.

12. The photos sent have the right to be used by Jakarta Provincial Government for internal publication needs.

13. Winner announcements can be accessed on the Official DKI Jakarta Province Portal (jakarta.go.id/jakarta497).

14. The winning prizes will be handed over on Jaya Raya Night, June 22, 2024.

In this competition, four winners will be selected to be given prizes in the form of money and trophies. 1st place Rp 10,000,000, 2nd place Rp 7,000,000, 3rd place Rp 5,000,000, Favorite winner (based on the number of likes on Instagram) Rp 3,000,000.
