Arlyana explained of 96 SMEs participated in the event, 20 of them were fashion, 20 food and beverage, 20 processed spices, 11 handicraft, and eight coffee SMEs. During the event, those SMEs have booked transaction up to Rp 1 billion.
"There was also business matching transaction worth Rp 12 billion," he added.
According to Arlyana, it is estimated that this transaction achievement will continue to increase in line with online sales of SME products which are also marketed on the Shopee marketplace until June 30.
Apart from marketing and exhibiting the products of 96 SME players, continued Arlyana, the JaKreatiFest 2024 also held talk shows, literacy and education, as well as information and public service booths.
The talk show, which was held offline and online, discussed various themes, including exports, sharia economics, controlling inflation, digitalization, consumer protection and financial inclusion.
Then the information and public service booth provided information about digitizing transportation services, tourism, kupva, halal certification as well as Cinta Bangga Paham Rupiah, Digital Population Identity (IKD), printing ID cards, digital tax payments and exchanging Rupiah currency.
In the context of food security, Arlyana explained that the signing of Inter-Regional Cooperation (KAD) had been facilitated with six partners throughout Indonesia. This collaboration is in order to maintain the stability of the supply of commodities that contribute to inflation, including rice, beef, chicken and shallots.
"Hopefully this activity can encourage the creativity of economic actors thereby increasing competitiveness in the digital era. This is important to confirm Jakarta as a Global City," he closed.
