Illegal Parking Attendants in Kembangan Netted

Some 35 joint personnel succeeded in controlling 11 illegal parking attendants from six road sections in Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, during the Lintas Jaya Operation, Thursday (6/13).

This is done to follow up on public reports who feel disturbed

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Afandi Novrisal said the eleven illegal parking attendants were netted from Jalan Raya Kembangan Selatan, Jalan Meruya Utara, Jalan Haji Lebar, Jalan Haji Saaba, Jalan Joglo Raya, and Jalan Srengseng Raya.

"This is done to follow up on public reports who feel disturbed," he explained.

He added the action was conducted persuasively and humanistically. Those were then taken to the West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Office for data collection and to sign a stamped statement not to return to illegal driving activities.

"So, residents who want to go to minimarket outlets to shop are urged not to worry anymore," he stressed.
