112 Illegal Parking Attendants in South Jakarta Netted

As many as 112 illegal parking attendants have been netted in South Jakarta from May to June 2024.

Those parking attendants are detected in 89 locations, especially in supermarkets and minimarts

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Bernad Oktavianus Pasaribu said the operation was held to give a deterrent effect and improve parking services in Jakarta for optimal results.

"Those parking attendants are detected in 89 locations, especially in supermarkets and minimarts," he expressed, Wednesday (7/3).

Illegal Parking Attendants in Kembangan Netted

He detailed, the sanctions that had been given included 11 people being charged with minor crimes (tipiring) by Satpol PP, while 101 others were given written statements not to make the same mistake.

"These 101 people will get receive a coaching from Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Nakertransgi)," he added.

South Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Head, Fidiyah Rokhim expressed that socialization regarding training programs that the parking attendants could take part in had been conducted, including programs included in the Independent Workforce (TKM) such as training in handicrafts, cosmetology, and security personnel.

"We have also promoted driving with a quota of 700 participants each year. However, we are also informed that there are several training programs that can only be participated by residents with Jakarta ID cards," he closed.
