"This is our social program to keep beach environment," he said, Wednesday (7/3).
According to him, the benefits of planting mangrove strengthening environmental conservation, as well as protecting the island from abrasion and the impacts of climate change.
Apart from planting mangroves, underwater diving is also carried out to clean up rubbish stuck to coral reefs and provide compensation for mustahik on Pari Island.
"Hopefully this activity can strengthen the togetherness of the police and the community, especially in making a real contribution in preserving coastal areas and social welfare in the Seribu Islands," he hoped.
Meanwhile, Pari Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Adriansyah, appreciated this social program held by Seribu Island Sector Police.
"It is hoped this program can be continued again next year," he stated.
