S. Jakarta Satpol PP Sweeps Nail Traps on Two Streets

In an attempt to fight back against escalations in the spread of nail traps on the streets, the Satpol PP intensifies a nail-trap cleanup operation in South Jakarta.

It aims to enforce the Bylaw 8/2007 on Public Order

It is focused on Jalan HR Rasuna Said and Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Setiabudi Sub-district.

South Jakarta Satpol PP's Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS) and Enforcement Section Head, Daniel said the nail-trap sweeping was done to create a sense of safety and comfort for the driver.

"It aims to enforce the Bylaw 8/2007 on Public Order," he expressed, Thursday (7/4).

At Jalan HR Rasuna Said, personnel collected nails, wire to bolts weighing up to five kilograms

"This sweeping involves five personnel," he explained.

Karet Semanggi Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Surata uttered personnel swept 20 pieces of iron umbrella.

"We use modified tools equipped with magnets. We'll continue to conduct searches on protocol roads, at least once a day," he closed.
