Joint personnel crack down on illegal parking and public minivans that are haphazardly stopping on Jalan Raya Jagakarsa, Lenteng Agung Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta.

It aims to parse traffic jams

Jagakarsa Sub-district's Transportation Executing Unit Head, Agus Mujahidin said the operation involved 20 joint personnel from the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency, Jagakarsa Sub-district Transportation Executing Unit, and army/police.

"It aims to parse traffic jams due to illegal parking and public minivans haphazardly waiting," he expressed, Friday (7/12).

He explained four public transports had been ticketed to provide a heraldic effect.

"To prevent similar case, we intensify supervision by placing two to four officers at the location every day," he explained.

The action above received appreciation from one of the residents, Cipto (52).

"Usually public minivans often stop haphazardly here, causing traffic jams," he stated.
