Toddlers in Srengseng Sawah Undergo Stunting Check-Up Services

Some 36 stunted toddlers living in Srengseng Sawah Urban Village, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, undergo medical health check-up services at Citra Betawi RPTRA, Jalan Wika, RT 04/06.

This is a follow-up to the basic guidelines for stunting program research

Srengseng Sawah Urban Village Head, Sarca said today's healthcare medical check-up service is a collaborative program for Community Service at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University.

"Besides weighing and height, we also hold a talk show to improve knowledge of healthy food for parents of toddlers," he expressed, Monday (7/15).

She appreciated and hoped it could be a routine agenda considering the active role of all elements of society was very much needed in alleviating the problem of stunting.

"Thank you for your concern everyone who attended today. Hopefully, this collaboration can reduce or even eradicate the problem of stunting, especially in Srengseng Sawah," she stated.

Community Service at Pancasila University Chief, Umi Marwati explained today's activity theme was "Increasing Knowledge of Healthy Food in Great Parents to Prepare a Strong Generation.

"This is a follow-up to the basic guidelines for stunting program research conducted by students," she explained.

She added collaboration with BPPOM in Jakarta was made, including with Kullyah of Pharmacy International Islamic University Malaysia and South Jakarta Branch PC IAI, which aims to contribute to increasing community awareness, especially toddlers and the elderly.

She hoped that the speakers on this occasion could make parents more aware of the health of themselves and their toddlers, especially when they are aged 0-5 years.

"Hopefully, the knowledge is useful and will have a good impact on reducing the stunting rate in Srengseng Sawah," she hoped.
