Health Service in Cilandak Timur Serves 163 ToddlersHe explained interventions to prevent stunting were held by weighing and measuring the height of toddlers conducted by health workers of Jagakarsa Sub-district Health Center.
They also held counseling about toddler dental health and then provided additional food in the form of chicken macaroni schotel by Posyandu cadres.
"In handling stunting, we've also collaborated with several stakeholders and community leaders such as the PPAPP Sub-agency, PKK, health community center or Puskesmas, and several CSRs, including for community empowerment activities at Posyandu," he explained.
His party was also making various innovations, one of which was forming Nutrition Care Groups (KPG) in all RWs, where KPG was very effective in dealing with stunting cases because its interventions went directly to the target and involved all stakeholders and community leaders in collaboration.
"We're trying everything to create, especially Cipedak Urban Village, zero stunting," he explained.
One of the toddlers' parents, Lua Aprilia (34) admitted her toddler had regular health checks at the Posyandu because if she was not checked regularly, she was afraid her toddler would catch a disease she did not know about.
"We often worry about the child's condition, so I definitely have regular health checks at the Posyandu and if I'm even a little sick, I'll just take my child to the Puskesmas," she closed.
