Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin, said improving education needs to start from the teaching staff by having quality teaching staff.

Budi claimed his party has been organizing honorary staff at state education units in the Jakarta area, since July 11, 2024. Honorary recruitment has been appointed by school principals without going through a tiered recommendation process to his party.

"The number of honorary in Education Agency reaches 4,000 people. It is accumulated from 2016," he said, Tuesday (7/16).

His party has carried out comprehensive analysis and correction of the quality of education in order to create transparency, accountability and justice in education management, including teaching staff in Jakarta.

He added that the quality and competence of the teaching staff is a priority to be managed, because the teacher's touch and teaching patterns can immediately see the achievements that students can achieve at school.

"We are optimistic that parents of students can support our efforts to improve the quality of education. So that in the future students can achieve their hopes and aspirations," he stated.
