Based on Jakpreneur System data up to July 16, 2024, there are 40,210 or 10.52 percent out of total assisted MSME in Jakarta have owned and applied QRIS payment.

Ratu assessed that this digitalization step provides significant benefits for Jakarta's economy as a whole as well as opening up new business opportunities and creating jobs. Including increasing the contribution of MSMEs to economic growth.
She admitted that the limited knowledge and skills in using or accessing digital technology by the community are challenge for the Jakarta Provincial Government in implementing digitalization for MSMEs.
However, said Ratu, her party continues to try and develop strategies to deal with this problem by holding training on marketing digitalization techniques so that they can attract wider consumers.
"Other strategies include implementing a digital-based payment system through QRIS Jakarta Entrepreneur, to facilitating digital-based marketing such as Friday Buy Local (JBL), e-Order and other digital platforms," she admitted.
