Jakarta City Council's Commission E is ready to support 4,127 honorary teachers in Jakarta to be promoted as Individual Employment Contract (KKI).

It was stated during Commission E meeting together with Education Agency, Tuesday (7/23).
The meeting was held to hear explanation of Education Agency related the continuation of honorary teacher. Meeting was led by Commission E Secretary, Jhonny Simanjuntak together with Commission E Deputy Chairwoman, Elva Farhi Qolbina.
Disdik: Teacher Recruitment Won't Hinder KBM Process in JakartaCommission E Secretary, Jhonny Simanjuntak, said his side proposed 4,127 honorary teachers to be promoted as KKI in this year.
"Commission E is ready to support if Jakarta Provincial Government proposes 4,127 honorary teachers to be promoted as KKI this year," he said, Tuesday (7/23).
His side also appreciated Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono who have returned honorary teachers back to teaching at their respective schools.
"Jakarta Provincial Government is also responsive by promoting 1,700 honorary teachers as KKI. But the council wants all honorary teacher to be promoted," he added.
Meanwhile, Acting Education Agency Head, Budi Awaludin, explained his side will promote 1,700 out of 4,127 honorary teachers as KKI this year.
"Central government will also recruit 1,900 P3K teachers this year," he explained.
He also thanked the commission for supporting the promotion of 4,127 honorary teachers as KKI this year.
