Tambora Residents Receive Social Assistance to Fulfill Basic Needs

As many as 328 Tambora Sub-district residents, West Jakarta, receiving social assistance of Fulfillment of Basic Needs (PKD) Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ) at RPTRA Kalijodo, Angke Urban Village, Tuesday (7/23).

The social assistance was symbolically handed over by West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto together with Jakarta Social Agency Head, Premi Lasari by distributing three PKD cards. The hundreds of recipients came from Angke Urban Village, Pekojan, Roa Malaka, Jembatan Lima and Jembatan Besi.
"In the name of West Jakarta Administration, thanks to Jakarta Social Agency for providing this assistance," Uus said.
Jakarta Social Agency Head, explained this disbursement of this PKD is the third round for new recipient.
"Disbursement for existing 2023 recipients have been conducted from January to June 2024," she stated.
Premi added that the third stage of distribution is given for six months, namely from January - June 2024 by Rp 300 thousand per month so that each recipient receives Rp 1.8 million. Furthermore, for the months of July, August and September, will be given quarterly, in September and continued in December.
West Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Suprapto, added distribution of PKD social assistance as cash assistance for poor people in the form of DKI ATM cards. Total new recipients in West Jakarta for PKD, KLJ, KAJ, and KPDJ is 16,205 people.
