PSN and PHBS must Be More Intensive, E. Jakarta Mayor Says

He appreciated the Jumantik cadres and locals, as the case in Ragunan Urban Village was provenly decreased in July 2024.

Therefore, he urged residents to continuously maintain environmental cleanliness by implementing 3M Plus and becoming an independent Jumantik. Thus, the breeding of aedes aegypti mosquitoes could be prevented.

"Indeed, the challenge for us is that Pasar Minggu still has many empty buildings or land. Hence, I ask Jumantik cadres to be thorough in conducting inspections and enthusiastic in carrying out their duties," he explained.

Pasar Minggu Sub-district Puskesmas Health Worker, Eskap Nurhati explained that clean and healthy living behavior was needed to suppress DHF cases. One of them was through Jumantik activities that target places or goods that have the potential for flooding.

"Thus, it doesn't become an extraordinary event. Synergy is needed to overcome the spread of this dengue fever disease," he added.

As for the information, besides intensifying PSN, residents, sub-districts, and urban villages also planted two trees type Mahogany and Kayu Putih for greener.
