10 Kilogram Pok Choy Harvested at RPTRA Sahardjo

Setiabudi Sub-district's Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Implementer Unit harvested vegetables at RPTRA Sahardjo, Jalan Makmur Raya, Menteng Atas, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. 10 kilogram pok choy were harvested there.

Setiabudi Sub-district's Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Implementer Unit Head, Lidya Erika, said pok choy was planted by using hydroponic method.

"We immediately plant other seeds again after harvesting period to maintain the food security," she said, Friday (8/2).

At the same time, she added, four kilogram of fish were also harvested from the pool.

"The vegetable and fish were directly distributed to integrated health post to be given to toddlers indicated with stunting," she added.

Meanwhile, RPTRA Sahardjo Coordinator, Dewi Indriani, explained they hydroponic vegetables are usually harvested after one month.

The nile tilapia fish is harvested once in two or three months. Or it is based on the fish size.

"We usually give education for residents visiting this park to conduct urban farming," she stated.
