POR Paralympic In North Jakarta Postponed

The event will be re-scheduled. We never imagine this can happen

A number of sports events in North Jakarta had to be postponed because of unavailable budget. One of them is a sport party for disabled athletes or POR Paralympic at North Jakarta level, but it cannot be held temporarily, whereas it was planned to be held in the upcoming June.

"The event will be re-scheduled. We never imagine this can happen," told Head of North Jakarta Sports and Youth Sub-Department, Lutfi, Thursday (4/30).

North Jakarta to Build Sport Facilities in RBU Park

As a matter of fact, Lutfi continued, the public's interest in sport is high, including disabled people. He ensured, the event would be held in the near future if the budget has been disbursed.

"We've got POR Paralympic for disabled students. The sports that will be participated are table tennis, volleyball, and athletics," explained Lutfi.

Likewise with another sport, is like SKJ (gymnastics) at the level of sub-district and urban village. Nevertheless, he ensures such event will be held this year.
