City Council Delivers General View of APBD 2024 Amendment Regional Regulation Draft

Jakarta City Council held a Plenary Meeting of Factions regarding the APBD 2024 Amendment Regional Regulation Draft, Thursday (8/8).

We appreciate the efforts to intensify and extend regional taxes

The plenary meeting was led by City Council Vide, Misan Samsuri, and attended by Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.

In the General View of the PDI Perjuangan Faction read by a member of the Jakarta City Council, Simon AM Sitorus said that his party appreciates the efforts to intensify and extend regional taxes that have been stipulated in the draft of the 2024 Regional Budget Regulation Draft of Rp 85.47 trillion or 4.60 percent higher compared to the determination of Rp 81.71 trillion.

"We appreciate the efforts to intensify and extend regional taxes that have been made, but we hope that this increase in regional taxes will not become an additional burden for Jakarta residents," he said.

General View of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Faction read by a member of the Jakarta City Council, Isyarani, hoped that the discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation on the Revised APBD will be carried out with high enthusiasm to produce a formulation that supports the welfare of the people and quality development.

"PKS faction expressed its appreciation for the revenue target in the 2024 Draft Revised APBD sourced from central government transfer revenues which increased significantly," he stated.
