City DPRD Appreciates APBD 2023 Revenue Achievement of Exceeding Target

Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Khoirudin, appreciated the regional revenue achievements which exceeded the target in the City Budget (APBD) 2023.

This achievement proves the result of hard work together with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD).

"The council appreciates the achievement in terms of revenue which exceeds the APBD 2023 target as stated in the Acting Governor's speech," he expressed, Thursday (7/25).

According to him, the achievement of exceeding the APBD 2023 target showed the Jakarta Government's seriousness and creativity in exploring other sources of regional revenue.

"This is extraordinary in the midst of a situation where the economy has not yet recovered due to the influence of COVID-19. But, income has been more than the target set. Salute to the TAPD team," he asserted.

He hoped that the amount of the unused funding (SILPA) will be smaller than 2023, amounting to more than Rp 6.54 trillion.

"Hopefully, this year's financial management and development financing will be better than the previous year, thus the SILPA figure will be smaller," he added.

Previously, in a speech by the Acting Governor when delivering Accountability for the Implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (P2APBD) 2023, he explained the financial revenue performance of the Jakarta Government had exceeded the target.

Such achievement came from the realization of Regional Original Income (PAD) by Rp 49.14 trillion or 101.44 percent of the target by Rp 48.44 trillion; Realization of transfer income was Rp 20.16 trillion or 99.68 percent of the target by Rp 20.22 trillion, and realization of other legitimate income was Rp 1.77 trillion or 88.46 percent of the target by Rp 1.99 trillion.

"Regional revenue for the APBD 2023 was realized at Rp 71.07 trillion or the equivalent of 100.57 percent exceeding the planned target by Rp 70.66 trillion," he closed.
