On a land area of ​​75 square meters, he explained, a total of 215 chili plants were planted. In a week, on average, one kilogram of chilies is harvested.

"We use the harvest ourselves or sell it cheaply to traders here to contribute to maintaining price stability," he explained.

In the future, his party would try to develop other urban farming plants such as melons and watermelons.

"Hopefully, the use of land with urban farming activities will be a model for other markets under the management of Perumda Pasar Jaya. Thus, food security is also increasingly maintained," he stated.
