The disciplinary of two or four wheeled riders to pay e-parking via Electronic Parking Terminal Machine (TPE) at Jalan Boulevard Raya, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, is relative low. Considering there are still many riders reluctant to pay despite have parked their vehicle for a long time.

To handle the cheating, Parking Integrated Service Unit (UPT) for Jakarta Communications and Transportations Department intends to install spy camera or Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) along Jalan Boulevard Raya.

Head of Parking UPT of Jakarta Communications and Transportations Department, Sunardi Sinaga explained, the CCTV connected with Smart City application and tracker sensor system of vehicle plate numbers.

"Those riders who don't pay parking fee, will be tracked through parking meter machine. The machine will be installed with plate number tracker sensor," he told, Friday (5/1).

Before CCTV and sensor tracker installed, he added, his party will deploy patrol supervisors to observe Jalan Boulevard. Whereas the installation of TPE machines aims to decrease leak of parking revenue.

For parking fares at Jalan Boulevard, owners of four wheeled vehicle will be charged Rp 5000 per hour and Rp 2000 for two-wheeled vehicles.
