4 Parking Lots Provided for Labor on May Day

Jakarta Provincial Government and Metro Jaya Police prepared 4 parking lots to accommodate the laborers who will park their vehicle while Labor Day Commemoration tomorrow, Friday (5/2).

As many as four parking lots will be prepared in the capital to accommodate the labor vehicles during May Day on Friday (5/2) tomorrow

 

"We have already banned the buses or vehicles that carrying the masses to park their vehicles along Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin," said Jakarta Police Traffic Directorate education and engineering unit Head, Adj. Sr. Comr. Warsinem, Thursday (30/4)

According to him, the 4 parking lots are scattered at crossing border points before the mass concentration point. "We prepare the parking lots at Monas area, IRTI, Gelora Bung Karno, and Lapangan Banteng," he told.

 

The parking lots have large capacity to accommodate the vehicles carrying the masses. "As in Monas area can reach 1,000 buses, and 400 to 500 units can be accommodated at Lapangan Banteng.

 

Warsinem continued, his side will give firm sanction for all vehicles that seen parked along Sudirman-Thamrin. "We will tow the vehicles that parking illegally. Because if we let them, the mass will be difficult to control," he told.

 

Warsinem also hoped the Labors Day Commemoration to run well and orderly. "We hope the Labor Day can take place safely and orderly," he hoped.
