"Bazar was participated by 20 SMEs who offered food, drink, and craft products. Then also cheap commodities from Bulog," he said, Monday (8/19).
According to him, this bazar is routinely held on residential islands to introduce the products of fostered business actors to the community, as well as to encourage the community to love local products.
"Bulog's presence provides market access for residents to get affordable prices and to encourage local SMEs," he added.
He explained that local residents were more enthusiast to visit the event since there were also karaoke and quiz competitions.
"We have prepared various attractive prizes. In addition, residents who shop more than Rp 50,000 are also given prizes," he continued.
Pari Island Urban Village, Muhammad Adriansyah, supported the event held by Seribu Island Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprise Sub-agency since it is a positive activity to improve the community's economy and develop local SMEs in the region.
"I saw Lancang Island residents flocked the event. They were enthusiast," he said.
One of Lancang Island residents, Rosmiati, admitted happy and helped by the bazar and cheap commodities sold there.
"Hopefully this event can be held monthly to fulfil our basic commodities easily," she said.
