The demolishment of ex Teater Jotet Building on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru IV, RT 15/10, Johar Baru Urban Village, Central Jakarta now reaches 98 percent. It is predicted the effort to reach 100 percent this week.

Johar Baru Sub-district, Nurhelmi Savitri, said the process of changing the building section that stands on land owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government of approximately 982 square meters has been completed. Now the demolishment process is entering preparation stage.

"We are keep providing meeting about it since the green open space must be completed in December," she said, Monday (8/19).

According to her, the meeting also involved related units such as Bina Marga Sub-agency, Water Resource, City Park and Forestry, and Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture.

"The meeting also discussed about socialization plan to local residents," she added.

Johar Baru Urban Village, Siswanto, stated there would be a section of the building wall that would not be dismantled and to be used as monument that a cinema had once stood on there.

"It is predicted the demolishment process to complete this week," he stated.

After the demolishment is completed, he added, related working units will be able to arrange the land and conduct socialization to local residents.
