Repairs to the sheet pile located on the West Outer Ring Road, RW 02, Kamal Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta, which collapsed some time ago are targeted for completion next week.

Penjaringan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Pendi said repairs needed to be conducted soon, as there was a section of plasterboard at the toll road entrance area which had collapsed due to being eroded by heavy rain early last year.
"It is done using river stones and the construction was made conical, measuring 80 centimeters wide at the bottom and 40 centimeters at the top," he expressed, Wednesday (8/21).

"It has been ongoing since August 2 and has touched 80 percent. It is targeted for completion by the end of this August," he explained.

Hopefully, it could prevent flooding in the surrounding area.
