100 Central Jakarta PKK Cadres Attend Quality Improvement Training

As many as 100 Central Jakarta PKK cadres, Thursday (8/22), attended the quality improvement training in Gerakan Keluarga Indonesia (Gelari Pelangi) program.

Central Jakarta TP PKK's Education and Family Economy Improvement Chairwoman II, Wien Yulianti, said that Gelari Pelangi is a derivative activity of the Central PKK to improve the quality of education, strengthen family economy, and skills.

"Participants came from Sub-district TP PKK Chairwoman, Sub-district Pokja II and RPTRA administrators under Pokja II," she said.

Wien hoped that participants can apply the knowledge gained from this training in their respective regions.

"The activity will provide additional insight and knowledge for participants," she added.

Central Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Ucu Jamilah, appealed all sub-district TP PKK chairwomen to provide pilot project after the training.

Ucu added that the main point of Gelari Pelangi is to increase interest in reading, quality of education and improve family economy.

Central Jakarta Administration Secretary, Iqbal Akbarudin, said his side supports the Gelari Pelangi program and will facilitate all planning, material, and distribution.

"We will involve all elements such as the community, PKK, government and the business world to unite in making this activity a success," he stated.
