Water channel normalization on Jalan Kayu Manis III RW 03 Kayu Manis, Matraman, East Jakarta which was started on August 8, now has been fully completed on Monday (8/26).

Matraman Sub-district Water Resource Taskforce Coordinator, Saeful, said the 50 meter-long normalization was run by installing U-ditch 50x60 cm and 60x60 cm.

"The existing channel condition was not in standsr size. So we normalized it to accommodate more water," he said.

According to him., the normalization involved 10 taskforce personnel.

"This water channel normalization was run to accommodate residents' request in Musrenbang," he stated.
