Public Transport Campaign Held at SMAN 79 by S. Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency held JakLingko education and publication for students of SMAN 79 Jakarta, Jalan Menteng Pulo Ujung, Menteng Atas Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Road Transport Section Head, Dedy Hartadi, said the program is aimed to encourage students in using public transportation.

"Today we explained them how to use the card and the introduction of the JakLingko application. There are many advantages using integrated public transportation in Jakarta," he said, Wednesday (8/28).

Dedy explained that students were also educated about various modern public transportation modes that are integrated in Jakarta.

"We provide information on the advantages and facilities available, starting from the fleet, bus stops, and others that provide comfort," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the students, Abidzar (16), admitted happy with the socialization provided today.

So far, Abidzar added, he still lacks information about JakLingko and the rates that must be paid.

"It was very exciting, we were also invited to discuss through questions and answers. Certainly, our knowledge about transportation in Jakarta has increased," he admitted.
