Jakarta Provincial Government through Tourism and Creative Economy Agency represents Indonesia at the tourism exchange at IBTM World 2024 in Barcelona as a leading destination for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.

Jakarta presents it enormous potential in the MICE sector

Jakarta Provincial Government's participation in one of the largest and most prominent MICE exhibitions in the world strengthens Jakarta's position as a global city that is ready to host international scale events.

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Head, Andhika Permata, said Jakarta's participation at IBTM World confirms its commitment in developing an ecosystem that supports the organization of international conference, exhibitions and business events.

"Jakarta presents it enormous potential in the MICE sector that continues to grow rapidly along with the modernization of facilities and ease of transportation access," he said, Saturday (11/23).

Agency's Secretary, Helma Dahlia, stated that Jakarta has the infrastructure to greatly support bringing in international delegations with its rapid economic growth and a major business center in Southeast Asia.

"MICE participants can enrich the experience with Jakarta's cultural diversity, wide range of luxury accommodation options, and unique venues," she stated.

Agency's Marketing and Attraction Division Head, Sherly Yuliana, explained that Jakarta is ready to become a leading MICE destination through IBTM World.

"Jakarta offers an extraordinary experience for international MICE event organizers and attendees with world-class facilities, strategic location and unique cultural richness," she explained.

As for information, Jakarta delegations at IBTM World Barcelona 2024 are venues, hotels, DMCs and PCOs such as Mulia Hotel, Gelora Bung Karno Senayan, Jakarta Convention Center, Panorama Tour and ASPERAPI. The Directorate General of Immigration also attended by promoting the golden visa.

Jakarta's second participation at IBTM World 2024 also collaborates with Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Barcelona.
