Land arrangement was conducted on Jalan Kembangan Baru, RT 05/03, precisely on the side of Cengkareng Drain River, North Kembangan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Kembangan Utara Urban Village Economic Development Section Head, Shelin said the arrangement was executed on a 300- square-meter wide land using the General Allocation Fund (DAU) from the Central Government.

"Previously, the location looked mess and was used as a storage place for street vendors' carts and also illegal buildings," she expressed, Thursday (8/29).

She explained the arrangement has been ongoing since mid-July by cleaning the location of trash, debris, and pruning trees, as well as continued by dredging the mud and paving and installing street lights.

"We're painting the fence and will plant various ornamental plants as well as making a jogging track and other facilities for residents to play and exercise," she explained.

She added it was targeted for completion in the forthcoming September 2024.

The arrangement above received appreciation from one of the residents, Nur Rohman (47).

"When it is completed, it can be used by residents as a place to exercise and socialize. We support it," he stated.
