Two Fire Incidents in East Jakarta Handled

Two fire incidents occurred in East Jakarta last night, Monday (9/2). No fatalities or casualties in the incident.

East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat)'s Operation Section Head, Abdul Wahid expressed the first fire hit a house on Jalan SMPN 160, RT 03/01 No.27, Ceger Urban Village, Cipayung at around 6.54 PM. It was triggered by an electrical short circuit.

"To put out the flames, we deploy three fire engines and also 15 firefighters to the location. We have managed it at around 7.37 PM," he expressed, Tuesday (9/3).

Assistance Disbursed to Fire Survivors in Pulogadung

The second incident was spotted at the Transjakarta Bus Stop's electric generator, precisely at Pasar Rebo intersection, Susukan, Ciracas at 11.48 PM. It was triggered by an electrical short circuit.

"According to statements from residents at the scene, there is a sudden explosion and the fire immediately grow bigger that it burned down the generator," he expressed.

To handle it, four fire engines and 20 firefighters were deployed to the scenw. They managed to control it at around 8 PM or in 35 minutes.

"No casualties in the incident," he closed
