Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, inaugurated the Ar-Raudhah Mosque in Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta, Friday (9/6). This inauguration signified the completion of the construction of the house of worship after being built in March 2024.

This mosque is designed with Balang tooth ornaments that reflect Betawi identity. He hoped, this mosque could increase the enthusiasm of residents in increasing their deeds of worship, as well as making the mosque prosperous by holding congregational prayers.
"This represents the Ar-Raudhah Mosque as a comfortable, inclusive and consistent place of worship to serve the worship activities of Muslims, especially in South Jakarta," he added.
The building area of Ar-Raudhah Mosque is around 500 m² with 400 worshipers capacity. Equipped with car and motorbike parking facilities, a canteen area, and a plant seed kiosk. This mosque was built on land owned by Jakarta KPKP Agency covering an area of 6,500 m². The construction of the mosque was carried out along with the revitalization of the plant seed kiosk and environmental improvements, with a total cost by Rp 8.8 billion without using City Budget (APBD).
As for the information, the inauguration was also attended by Public Welfare Acting Assistant and Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati, Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, PT PAM Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin, and PT Transjakarta President Director, Welfizon Yuza.
