North Jakarta Involves Police to Combat Thuggery

North Jakarta Social Sub-Department is ready to cooperate with police to control acts of thuggery. It is a follow up over the thug raid that managed to control 91 thugs in North Jakarta Metro Resort Police zone a while ago.

Head of North Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Ucu Rahayu stated, her side will cooperate with police in order to create public order. “Police asked us to help them deeply. Thug is not PMKS, they are so unsettling. We might cooperate with police resort on this matter, that is by sending thugs to social house,” she expressed, Wednesday (5/6).

Eradicate Flat Mob, Basuki to Use Thuggery Means

Before guidance is done, the assessment must be done first in a bid to measure the potential of the thugs and then directed. “To change someone mentality isn’t easy, especially thug,” she explained.

She added the existence of the thug  in North Jakarta is triggered by high poverty level and job sector. “The poverty level in North Jakarta is highest compared to other cities. That's why, many sectors open a chance to people as a thug,” she disclosed.
