Troublemakers, 23 Thugs in Palmerah Netted

They (thugs) are often disturbing road users. Hence, we'll routinely hold raid against thugs in Palmerah area in future

The ranks of Palmerah Metro Sector Police have secured 23 thugs who often disrupt road users in Palmerah, West Jakarta. 

Chief of Palmerah Metro Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Sukata disclosed the 23 thugs were netted at red light junctions of Slipi, Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Kota Bambu Selatan, and Kota Bambu Utara.

Occupying Land Illegally, 131 Thugs Secured

"They (thugs) are often disturbing road users. Hence, we'll routinely hold raid against thugs in Palmerah area in future," he stated, Monday (9/15).

Previously, police had secured dozens of young people because of they hang out on the roadside and make people uneasy at Jalan G, Slipi, Palmerah, Sunday (9/15) morning. At the same time, police also found and confiscated a liquor type vodca.

"We found liquor type vodca stored in a plastic when we did raid," he expressed.

By police, those young people immediately brought to the office of Palmerah Metro Sector Police for guidance. On the other hand, they must make an affidavit and their parent would be summoned to keep monitoring their children.

"Majority of the netted young people are students of Junior and Senior High School. After giving guidance and summoning parents, they will be sent home," he explained.
