Assistance Disbursed to Pejambon Fire Survivors

Three families of fire survivors on Jalan Pejambon 1, RT 01/01, Gambir Urban Village received assistances from Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency.

Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam, said the assistances were given to urban village and attended by RW 01 caretaker to be disbursed to the survivors.

The assistances for men are shirt, short, flip-flops, koko, sarong, peci, towel, toothpaste and toothbrush, shampoo and soap, and underwear.
While the women's equipment package consists of three pieces of underwear and bra and one bottle of soap and shampoo. Then a housedress, mukena, prayer mat, towel, flip-flops, toothpaste and toothbrush, one piece each.
Then, 10 sheets of blankets, three sheets of plastic mats, two balls of adult diapers and six balls of children's diapers. Next, three packages of cleaning equipment in the form of broomsticks, coconut brooms, water scoops, ladles, dustpans, doormats, washcloths, toilet brushes and carbolic acid.
"Meanwhile, the food packages provided were five kilograms of rice, one large bottle of soy sauce, five cans of sardines, four one kilogram packages of biscuits, one box of instant noodles and one two-liter bottle of cooking oil," he explained.
Gambir Urban Village Head, Gabriel Mahardika Augustinus, appreciated the assistances give by Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency. Based on the data, the assistances were disbursed to 10 people from three families.
"The assistance provided is very helpful for our residents affected by the fire," he said.
The fire incident that burned down three houses occurred on Thursday (9/5) at around 5.30 PM. It is suspected that the incident was triggered by an electrical short circuit.
