Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) responded casually related the Integrated Bus Network (APTB) operators who agreed to no longer enter into Busway lanes and serve passengers only up to border bus stop. Although subtly threatened, Ahok admitted undaunted and will multiply the bus number on upcoming June.

"That is theirs (APTB operators) choice. I had guessed they will test us because we haven't had an adequate bus fleet," told Ahok in City Hall, Wednesday (5/6).

Ahok guessed the Jakarta Land Transportation Owner (Organda) choose that option because they see there are too many passengers in Jakarta and will need APTB service.

"They think that Transjakarta bus fleet will not adequate to accommodate the passenger. Please wait until June, the Bus will arrive to support Transjakarta bus," he said.

As information, Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishubtrans) held meeting with Organda related the rupiah per kilometer system some time ago. However, Organda not agree with the price offered by the City Government which is around Rp 14,000 to Rp 15,000 per kilometer and proposed Rp 18,000 per kilometer. Not only that, APTB operators also want the passengers to pay twice although the passenger already paid the ticket of Rp 3,500 in the counter which is maintained by the City Government in order to not give burden on society.
