APTB to Join with PT Transjakarta in Three Months

Jakarta Provincial Government officially transferred the management of Integrated Border Transport TransJakarta (APTB) to PT Transportation Jakarta (TransJakarta). Later, APTB will be paid by the system of per kilometer similar with other TransJakarta bus operators.

Jakarta Transportation Department Head, Benjamin Bukit said, his side will help the process of management transition because the time given for the transition process is only three months.
"We provide the opportunity to APTB operators to join the PT TransJakarta in three months. We will help the process of mediation," said Bukit, Friday (16/1).
APTB Operational must Be Restricted, Ahok SaysAccording to him, the three months period must be used by both parties to develop rules, reform the system, and change the logo. The APTB operator must comply with the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) of PT TransJakarta after officially joining.

APTB must be on TransJakarta bus lanes and should not load and unload passengers carelessly ," he added.He also made sure there are no additional routes to APTB and additional fleet of buses for the transportation. Until now, there are six APTB operators with 17 routes that connecting Jakarta with the surrounding towns. Six operators namely PT Anugerah Mas, PT Bianglala Metropolitan, PT Sinar Jaya Megah Langgeng, PT Mayasari Bhakti, PT Hiba Utama, and Perum PPD.
The 17 routes are Bekasi-Pulogadung, Poris Plawad-Tomang, Ciputat-City, Cibinong-Grogol, Bogor-Rawamangun, Bekasi-Tanah Abang, Jakarta-Bubdaran Hi, Bogor-Blok M and Cileungsi-Blok M. Then the other routes are, Bogor-Tanah Abang, Bogor-Tanjung Priok, Pulogadung-Tangerang, Cikarang-Kalideres, Bogor / Ciawi-Grogol, Bogor / Bubulak-Grogol, Bogor-Senen, and Bogor-Cililitan.
