24 Buildings on Jalan Lenteng Agung Demolished

We have socialized the building owners to demolish their own building since 2 months ago

As many as 24 buildings were demolished due to standing on the edge of the rail along Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, which is the  property of Jakarta Provincial Government and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).  

Jagakarsa SUb-District Head, Fidiyah Rokhim stated those buildings have no building permit (IMB) and their existence have violate Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order. 

12 Kiosks on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya Demolished

"We have socialized the building owners to demolish their own building since 2 months ago," said Rokhim, Thursday (7/5). 

Those buildings were commonly used as business place such as food stalls, used goods stalls and machine shops. They have been settled the location since 20 years ago. 

In future, according to Rokhim, his party will re-function the land as green open space (RTH).
