Wushu Brings Two Golds for Jakarta PON Contingent

The Wushu sport branch brought two golds, one silver and one bronze for Jakarta contingent at PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra.

We should be grateful for this achievement

The two gold medals were brought by male and female athletes from the Wushu Taolu - Shangquan, namely Edgar Xavier Marvelo and Eugenia Diva Widodo. Both are also Jakarta athletes who joined the National Training Center to compete in the International Wushu competition for Indonesia.

One silver gold was brought by Salwaa Dhana Azalia and Andrea Simon from the Wushu Taolu Tajiquan and Changquan.

Jakarta Wins First Gold Medal in Rowing

Deputy General Chairperson I of KONI and CdM of the Jakarta Contingent for Medan, Aldwin Rahadian expressed his gratitude for winning two gold medals, one silver and one bronze from the two Wushu Taolu Tajiquan and Changquan men's and women's competitions.

"We should be grateful for this achievement. It must be appreciated much," said Aldwin Rahadian, Thursday (9/12).

He hopes this achievement will also trigger other athletes to win the competition in different sport branches.

"Our target is to get 10 gold medals from Wushu for this year's PON," he stated.
