Jakarta DPRD Commission B Chairman, Ismail had said PT Transjakarta and the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) had given a good proportion to JakLingko operator partners.
There are two important factors
According to him, the average fleet quota given was above 40 percent of the existing fleet owned by each operator.
"There are two important factors. First, the aspirations of the community's needs and second is the proportion to the number of fleets owned by each operator," he expressed, Thursday (8/1).
Commission B Proposes BUMD Administration System ImprovementHe explained when there is high demand for a particular route, that becomes a priority.
"I believe that the Jakarta Transportation Agency and PT Transjakarta are considering this. So, it is not solely because of the operator's submission," he explained.
He added the aspect of proportionality of opportunities given to partner operators also needed attention.
"What is the proportionality like? One of them is the number of existing fleets owned by each operator," he uttered.
He also gave support for the welfare of JakLingko drivers to continue to be improved because the quality of good drivers, one of which is no longer a problem in the welfare aspect greatly affects the quality of service. Moreover, it is related to passenger safety.
"What the driver receives is an accumulation of rupiah per kilometer. I believe this component has been formulated well by PT Transjakarta following the existing wage regulations. The question is, is what has been given to the operator given appropriately to the driver? This is actually what needs to be reviewed or evaluated," he added.
He wanted the JakLingko operator, PT Transjakarta, and the Jakarta Transportation Agency to sit together to find the best solution that benefits all parties.
"Through good communication, we can discuss comprehensively the issue of inequality in quota allocation and others," he stated.
