Johar Baru TPS Cleaned by Residents

To realize clean, safety, and convenient environment, residents of RW 06 Jalan Rawa Tengah, Galur, Johar Baru held a communal work to clean the environment, Sunday (5/10). This activity was help by hundreds of Army personnel.

This is routine activity conducted as scheduled and this time we are helped by Army personnel

Johar Baru Sub-Disrict Head, Ikhsan R Sururi stated, in this activity his party is focusing on cleaning some clogged water channels and and empty land that previously used as Waste Disposal Site (TPS).

"This is routine activity conducted as scheduled and this time we are helped by Army personnel," he uttered, Sunday (5/10).

He continued. the 60 square meters wide empty land that previously used as Waste Disposal Site(TPS) eventually will be planted various plants managed by local residents. Hopefully, the activity would increase community's economic.

"Eventually, the land will be planted palawijaya and vegetables which are managed by local residents," he disclosed.
