Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, said that Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports the Indonesian Army's 79th Anniversary celebration held at Monumen Nasional (Monas), Saturday (10/5).

For this moment, Heru appeals offices around Monas, Jalan MH Thamrin, and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to apply Work From Home (WFH) on that day.
"The 79th Indonesian Army Anniversary celebration will be held at Monas, Saturday. There will be various shows and entertainment such as parades, parachuting, fly passes, and defense equipment parades. We appeal offices around the location to apply WFH," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.
Acting Governor Expects Strengthening Synergy between City Government and Kodam JayaHeru added that applying WFH is aimed to reduce traffic congestion during the celebration. Furthermore, Jakarta Provincial Government through its Transportation Agency will apply traffic engineering in Sudirman-Thamrin.
"We need to anticipate traffic congestion on Saturday. That's why traffic engineering is applied. Public can still do their activities by using alternative roads by following the officer direction," Heru added.
Heru hopes that the Indonesian Army's 79th Anniversary celebration will run smoothly and orderly. Public is also expected to enjoy the performance and entertainment presented by the army.
Indonesian Army has prepared various interesting attractions and activities that can be enjoyed at Monas, Central Jakarta. Those are self-defense demonstration, horse riding demonstration, Jupiter Aerobic Team, Parachuting, Rajawali Laut Flight, Anti-Drone Demonstration, Troop and Defense Equipment Parade, Defense Equipment Parade with society, Fly Pass, Drone Theatrical Demonstration, Boom Burst, and High Speed Pass. The anniversary will also be enlivened with guest stars Dewa 19, Slank, Ari Lasso, Raffi Ahmad, and Oki Lukman.
