3,000 Job Vacancies Prepared at Tamini Square Job Fair

As many as 3,000 job vacancies are prepared by 37 private parties and three work training offices during a job fair held by East Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency, Wednesday (10/2) to Thursday (10/3) at Tamini Square.

Hari added, visitors do not need to bother bringing job application files. They can directly register to look for work by scanning the barcode at each stand.
"Mostly the visitors are graduation from high and vocational school," Hari added.
According to him, of the total 352,000 unemployed in Jakarta, as many as 122,000 or around 30 percent of them are in East Jakarta. Therefore, he greatly appreciates the sub-agency which routinely holds job fairs.
Appreciation was also delivered by Jakarta City Council Member, Syahroni who also attended the job fair opening. He said that job fair is important for job seekers getting job, or companies who need workers.
"This activity helps a lot of people. We hope they can find work openly according to their educational background," he said.
East Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency Head, Galuh Prasiwi, explained this is the third hob fair held this year. Each event provides an average of around 3,000 job vacancies from several private companies operating in the retail, automotive, service and other sectors.
"Hopefully the event is able to reduce unemployment in Jakarta," she said.
One of the job seekers, Ayu Puji Lestari, admitted she knew the job fair information on the social media. She hopes will get a job related to her education background as public relation.
"I hope I can get a job here that match with my background," she hoped.
