Fire Burns Shop at Citraland Shopping Mall

The West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) managed to put out the fire at Citraland Mall, Jalan Letjend S Parman, RT 11/01, Tanjung Duren Utara Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, Friday (10/4).

West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Syarifudin said the fire that hit one of the largest shopping centers in West Jakarta occurred at 12.50 AM.

The burned objects were on the fifth floor of the mall, a shop kiosk, and on the sixth floor, a food court. Not only that, the Renewal Church door on the fourth floor was also affected by the fire.

"We deploy 16 fire engines and 80 firefighters to the scene," he expressed.

An electrical short circuit allegedly caused it. After struggling with the fire, officers finally pout out it at 3.05 AM.
