Commission B Focuses Strengthening Partnership to Realize Jakarta Global City

Jakarta City Council's Commission B Chairman, Nova Harivan Paloh, stated his side will strengthen partnership with related Regional Owned Enterprise and Regional Working Unit to realize Jakarta Top 20 Global City.

His side will focus on several matters such as transportation and clean water. As the example, the continuation of MRT Phase 2A construction.

Soon, Nova added, his side will ask for an explanation and information from PT MRT Jakarta regarding the construction of MRT Phase 2A. It is aimed to set the construction right on target.

"Transportation is important before we are heading to global city," he added.

Nova also highlighted the issue of clean water in Jakarta, especially related to PAM services that are still often complained by residents. In addition to reports of leaking connections in several locations, Nova admitted that there were still reports of clean water services to residents' homes that were often turned off.

"In the future, we will focus on ensuring that there are no more complaints and that the community's need for clean water is met," he continued.

As for information, Commission B's working partners are Regional Owned Enterprises, Transportation Agency, Industry Trade, Cooperatives Small Medium Enterprises Agency, Manpower Transmigration and Energy Agency.
