Toddlers and Elderly in Utan Panjang Enjoy Posyandu Services

As many as 100 toddlers and 55 children under five enjoyed access to Posyandu health services held at RW 05 Secretariat Office, Utan Panjang Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

We also provide nutritional supplements to toddlers and the elderly

Utan Panjang Urban Village People's Welfare Section Head, Isromi Apriliayanti said basic health services for toddlers provided at the Posyandu include immunization, height, and weight checks. As for the elderly, it included checking blood sugar, cholesterol, and others.

"We also provide nutritional supplements to toddlers and the elderly," he expressed, Tuesday (10/22).

By doing so, he hoped, the health level of toddlers and the elderly in Utan Panjang Urban Village area could be maintained well.

"Hopefully, it can maintain the health of the elderly and prevent children from stunting," he asserted.

One of the RT 07/05 Utan Panjang Urban Village residents, Dewi admitted she used the Posyandu service for immunization and health checks for her three-month-old child.

"Hopefully, this service can be a routine agenda and improved," she hoped.
